Julie Borland Obituary

JULIE MARIE BORLAND age 23 of Katy, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Julie was born Oct 2, 1983 in Chertsey, England and moved to Katy as a young child. She graduated from St Agnes Academy in 2002 and was in her senior year at LSU studying business. Julie was an outgoing vibrant young lady with a beautiful smile. She loved to travel, attend LSU football games, spend time with family, friends and her dog Lady. She is survived by her parents, Nancy and Charles Borland; her brother, Christopher Borland; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Omer DeBrosse and Mrs. Doris Borland; also, numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and her dear friends. Julie will be missed. Little I knew that morning, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we can not see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, in Katy, with Rev. Msgr. Jack M. Dinkins, Celebrant. Schmidt Funeral Home 1508 East Ave., Katy, TX 77493 (281) 391-2424

I just wanted to sat that I am keeping Julie and her family in my prayers. I carpooled with Julie for a few years and then went to SAA with her. I know her spirit will live on in the lives of those she touched.
