To the Howard Family,
I want to extend my deepest sympathies to all of you. Mrs. Kakie was such a wonderful person full of joy and the willingness to help others. You see she worked with my mother, Ana Munoz, at Bear Blvd. and she helped me sooooo much with my daughter Eliana who was in special ed student at that school. Mrs. Kakie was so dedicated to her kids at school and showed a genuine intrest in their well being that she will be forever loved by all the lives she touched. My daughter Eliana (6)now speaks well and is starting to read at her level all thanks to Mrs. Kakie's intervention and help overseeing her progress. I will truly miss such a beutiful angel that blessed us all by touching our lives.

To Kakie's family. I was saddened to hear about Kakie's death. I taught with Kakie at Spring Shadows for 13 years. She was such a bright light there for all the children. I know she will be missed by all the children she touched. God bless you all.

Last in June when we have been turned down, school after school... I saw Mrs. Howard and she looked at Glen and said , Heather, ( her exact words...) what are you worrying about, Glen will be at our school! From that momment on, I knew how wonderful and such a strong women your mom was and is.. I thank God I was able to have you in my life for Glen and me... What a wondeful wonderful daughter you are... We will miss Mrs. Kakie..

Lauren, Your mother was a wonderful person and mother. You smile just like her. Even though she was sick, she never let it get her down when at Bear Blvd. It was this year that I got to know her and you. She was an inspiration to all who met her and the kids loved her. She will be missed as well as you at the school. You and your bother are in my prayers. Please email or call me any time.

Lauren, you know I love you and your mother very much. You two have, and will continue to have, such a great impact on my life. Your mother was such a great person to me and everyone I know. Dear Lauren and Patrick,
Long ago, your mom and I were both teachers at Spring Shadows Elementary. Our kids all went to the same babysitter. I'll always remember her humor and kindness. All her colleagues and students adored her. She was a gift to the world.

Your mother was a beautiful person. We taught together in SBISD many years ago. In all the years I have known her I never heard her say anything negative about anyone or anything. To the family: I just learned of Kakie's passing and I wanted to extend my most sincere condolences to each of you at this very sad and difficult time. Kakie was a friend of mine from Baylor and is remembered fondly as someone who had such an incredible zest for life, always upbeat, and, more importantly, always there when you needed a good friend. Her memory will be treasured by many of us who were fortunate enough to know her. May God Bless you and keep you during the days ahead.

She kept you laughing about something whenever she was with you.She will be missed but now she is with Michael. She is no longer in any pain!
