Dear Jan,

It has only been a million years since we last were in touch and I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You have been on my mind the last few months. I found an old letter you had written years ago about 6 months ago...then on June 6, I tried to locate you and found you on "Classmates.com" and sent a letter. I can only imagine the pain you're experiencing. It has been a long time, but you and Kirk were a very special couple when you were just kids, and I'm sure that has only grown more precious all these years later. Please know that you are all in our prayers. I don't know what information they provide you with, but my email address is "[email protected]" please contact me when you can. My parents are still in Kingwood, and I'd love to be in touch. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers

With love,

Phyllis (Marucci) Woodley

Jan,

I am sorry to hear of Kirk's passing. I know this has been a trying year but there will be sweet memories as you look back. The great news is you will see him again and he is with his heavenly Father and out of pain and suffering. He ran a great race! It has been years (when you first moved to Houston)since I have seen you and talked with you guys but yet it seems like yesterday to me that we all went to school together. Mom called to let me know. I know she and Mrs Bess taught together for years. I just want you to know I am praying for you in the days to come and sending many hugs your way. I pray you feel God's comforting arms around you at this time. If there is anything I can do please let me know. We are still in Katy.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Kirk. I know for the family this is a very difficult time. It is my hope and prayer that you find the strength to endure, by relying on our "God of all comfort, the Father of tender mercies, who can comfort us in all our tribulation."2Co 1:3,4. In the meantime you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jan,

How my heart breaks for Kirk's passing. I can only imagine the difficult days that you have had in the past year and in the days to come, as well.

Please know that Sylvia and I are praying for you and your family. You and Kirk were good friends to us at Amelia Baptist in Beaumont.

We would love to be with you at the funeral, but if not, please know that our prayers for God's comfort will be with you.

Yours in Christ,

Randy Mobley
