Lawrence Mason
Alderson, 84, went to be with our Lord on March 20, 2014.
Lawrence graduated from Milby High School in Houston, TX, University of Houston and received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Dental School.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents J.B. and Edith Alderson, and his daughter Amy Alderson.
Lawrence is survived by his loving wife, Lynnett Guynes Alderson, daughters Lori Alderson Shafer,(husband, Andrew Shafer) and Erin Alderson. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jordan and Emily Shafer. Sisters Pamela Alderson Williams and Virginia Longmire and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lawrence served as a First Lieutenant QMC USAR. Lawrence was a member of the Texas Dental Assn., and was very active in the American Academy of Gnathologic Orthopedics.
Lawrence was faithful to his Episcopal Church and had a heart of a servant for his community.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 7615 FM 762, Richmond, TX 77469.
In lieu of flowers, and in celebration of Larry's life and for the Glory of God, memorials may be given to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, or Rosenberg Richmond Helping Hands, Inc.
