Where do I begin? Well, according to Webster a guest is--a visitor or a friend entertained in the house or at the table of another. He further states that a book is a printed or written literary work; a volume; division of a literary work. I know some can follow me in the spirit. I am a guest to this book on a regular basis. So, I guess I visit Laron's house and sit at his table quite often. Laron was a literary work to all. His life and love was a book that many have read and will continue to read for years to come. Everytime one of my sons sing, turn back flips or repeat a familiar phrase that Laron spoke I am rereading the book "Laron's Impact on the World". I remember the day that I came to New Jerusalem Whole Truth Church Laron was singing the song "there is not a friend like lonely Jesus, no not one, well, there may not be a friend like the lonely Jesus but Laron Gaddie came very close. Those words sung from his heart caused a broken vessel to come to Christ. I am more determined than ever to see Jesus. My friend Laron is part of the great cloud of witnesses. God bless the Gaddie family.

Without "Ron", I would not have the desire to play the organ.I watched him, I watched him, and I watched him. Everybody says,"you play and sound just like Ron". I thank god for him because he was my hero, my friend, my brother. Ron was there for me when my own family wasn't there. I love him and i miss him dearly. But,one thing I know, god doesn't make any mistakes. Ron i love you and i miss you. And cause of God calling you home, I have another reason to go to heaven. I will see you again. My prayers are with the family, and I know God don't make mistakes. I love you guys keep holding on to God then we all can see 1st God, 2nd, our friend.

Matthew 6:1 "Take heed that you do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your father which is in heaven".* Whatever LaRon did for someone, he did it in secret. It was always done out of love and friendship. He would on occassion walk up to so many of us and say come by and see me at the shop. Once you got there he would encourage you by giving you a banging hairstyle and treating you to lunch at one of his favorite soulfood resturants. No one would ever know that he was doing this for you because he was not doing this for show; but out of love. I will miss his laugh , his smile, and his beautiful voice. My deepest regrets to the entire Gaddie Family. Minister Tabatha Hubbard and Family. Houston Tx.

What an honor it was to be acquainted with LaRon in ministry. Certainly, I have witnessed many lives he has ministered to, one being my own. Never have I met such a talented brother in Christ - and I will miss the gifts LaRon shared so graciously with us.

From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, Your name is worthy to be praised. This is what "Ron" did, he praised God all the time..Ron learned to give God a yet praise. He gave God a sacrifice of praise. He gave God a stand still and know that I AM GOD praise. Although his body was filled with red blood, it was also filled with praise. I was so delighted to have known this TRUE man of honor, valor and much respect, who was so real in everything he did. Ron you are now singing to our Father in Heaven "from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same." Much Love--Minister C. Harrison

To My Anointed & Appointed Pastor and First Lady--Lee Edward & Pearlie Gaddie and Family my prayers, and love are constantly with you.

To the family of Mr. Laron Gaddie:

I just wanted to let you know that my prayers are with you. I had the pleasure of meeting Laron through my sister Twyla Burks and what a pleasure it was, to have met such a wonderful person. Everytime, I would see Laron he always had a kind word and a beautiful smile to go behind the words. I would also like to say to the siblings, continue to stand together and let no one come between that bond. I know what it's like to lose someone that is truly special and dear to your heart. My prayer is that God will continue to keep you tucked safely in his arms.

With deepest sympathy,

Rev. & Sis. Lester & Dana Howard

We just would like to say that we really love LaRon Gaddie and his entire family. We are LaRon's biggest fans. his voice is so amazing. Sometimes we have to ask the Lord why. We cant seem to believe that he has left us.We know that he really did love us.But further along we will understand. So cheer up and live in the sunshine. LaRon went to hide behind that mountain, where those chilly winds dont blow! We love and will keep praying for the Gaddie family.

To the Gaddie family,

My prayers are that God will keep and comfort you in the homegoing on LaRon. He and I sang together in the Just Say No Choir when we were much younger. I can still hear him singing the end of " A Portrait of God's Family." In our gospel community, he will truly be missed.

Just want to say that I will miss my friend of so many years. You rarely find people who are so transparent and not ashamed to be who they really are. When you know who's you are, then it's not hard being yourself. LaRon knew he was anointed by God to impact peoples life, and that he did. Whether it was through song, laughter, encouragement, or simply telling you exactly how he feels, your life was never the same. Alot of people could not get away with saying some of the crazy things that LaRon would say to some of his close friends, but if you really knew Laron, you knew he was all about love and kindness. I pray that the Gaddie family be blessed, and that God continues to hold them together in love. God is still worthy of our Praise!

I sang in the Praise Team of the New Jerusalem Whole Truth Church where Laron was minister of music Faithfully. I also sang back-up for his personal ministry. Laron was also my mentor in the hair styling business, everything i know i got from him. After he was all those things to me he was closest friend (and a brother) i wll never forget his ministry or his life because they were hand in hand.I say to all of us who loved him and still love him ,lets do what he would do "SHOW LOVE". Thats what he was an example of "LOVE" .......on behalf Me , Judy Sanders, Shenell Dixon, Stephanie Biscoe (praise leader), and Niaomi Allen (The Praise Team) We thank you and love you for praying for us ....we are praying for you . My sincerest condolences. I know pain of losing a loved one and in saying that, I realize there are no words to console you. Time is the only thing that will alleviate your pain. "Look to the hills from which cometh your help." Always know that God is with you and with Him you can endure all things.

Like many others, I have very fond memories of LeAndrew. Thinking of the times we spent clowning around in school, makes me smile. To the Gaddie Family all my love and best wishes.

There are few people in this world who eminate life the way LaRon did. I only had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times, but he made such and incredible impression on me. The first time I met him, I was actually in the hospital with food poisoning and I was miserable. He came not to see me, but my best friend who flew into town to check on me. When LaRon got there, I had to ask him to please stop making me laugh because it hurt. The laughter that he brought was medicine for me though. Even though he's not here with us in tangible/tactile way anymore, the memories of the times we shared with him will serve as medicine for our souls for many years to come. THANKS SO MUCH LARON!

WOW, what a unique way to honor a truly unique person. To the Gaddie Family "THANK YOU for such a wonderful gift." I met LaRon through a musical play we did together and from the VERY FIRST MOMENT it was laughter!!! I miss his kind spirit, gorgeous smile, anointed voice, and most of all his sense of humor. LaRon, I miss and love you dearly. I will always remember North Carolina, the Omni and "Where my mama????"

Philippians 1:21 For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Oh to be where you are one day LaRon is what I'm striving for, to see Jesus I know that you are there, We will meet again! To the Gaddie family you are in my prayers. I wasnt able to make it to any of the services but my heart was there. I loved LaRon very much because he was very real everytime I saw him there was no difference in the way he treated me. He always showed me much love and support in my career and always shared words of encouragement. He will be missed just having someone around in the music industry who wasnt caught up in a name and where a person was from and ect...it was refreshing to the industry just knowing that there was still someone genuine around. Thank You LaRon, Thank God for LaRon!!!! And May God continue to Bless and Keep the Gaddie Family!

Lets all continue in his example of showing love to one another. God bless you and keep you is our prayers.

Well, we've had a GREAT LOSS! Laron was a WONDERFUL SINGER but even more than that he was a WONDERFUL PERSON! Full of life, smiles, clowning, ministry and etc... He brought sooo much joy to soooo many of us! He's finally at home experiencing FULL JOY with his creator! Laron you know I love you man! I have from day one... and always will! You will NEVER die here on earth until the last person who's life you affected has expired..

Surely Heaven is rejoicing with the arrival of LaRon! LaRon was one of the genuinely nicest & sweetest persons I have met. When I lost my brother Qualyn in December 2002, LaRon was right there to offer words of comfort, so I would not miss this oppurtunity to do the same. His presence will truly be missed but his Spirit will always be with us. On behalf of RON SUMMERS & SOUNDS OF LEVI, we will miss LaRon at our rehearals and/or concerts yelling "Sang Ya'll!!" He was a very giving person and always supportive of our ministry. We will continue to pray your strength. From the rising of the sun 'till the going down of the same God's name is worthy to be praised! God Bless You!

I DID NOT KNOW HIM MUCH, BUT MY WIFE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT HIM. SHE SAID HE HAD A PERSONALITY OUT OF THIS WORLD AND WAS HEAVENLY SENT. I KNOW ONE THING, HE WAS A GIFTED PERSON WITH HIS HANDS AND SIGHT. I HOPE HE IS IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE, AND IS FEELING THE LOVE HE IS GETTING RIGHT NOW. I HOPE HIS PURPOSE IN THIS LIFE WAS MET AND NOT IN VAIN.I MET HIM ONCE AND HE WAS WELL, AND IN ORDER. I HOPE GOD IS WITH HIM, HE TAKES CARE OF HIS OWN. HE IS A GOD OF LOVE AND WE AS A PEOPLE NEED NOT TO STOP LOVING EACH OTHER. I HOPE HIS FAMILY IS PRAYING FOR HIM, AND THANKING GOD FOR THE TIME HE SPENT WITH THEM. LIFE ON EARTH IS FOR A WHILE FOR HE HAS GONE TO HIS HOME IN PEACE. AMEN.

April 29, 2004

Praise ye the Lord! for you, the Gaddie family, had such a task from God in bringing forth an Angel whom I had the opportunity to know and we call him LaRon. Oh God how missed he will be. LaRon took me in as more than just another client, but as a little sister in Christ who appreciated him and the talents that the Lord has bestowed upon him. Words can not describe the butterflies you felt when LaRon opened up his vessel and poured out blessings in the form of song. Not only did he "do" hair, but he "did that!" The only struggle I have to overcome in losing LaRon is finding someone who really cares about you first, then the health of your hair, and the statement your hair style made when you got out of the chair. LaRon would minister to me through word and song. He was a true example of love, honesty, and friendship. I pray that you-Gaddie family-will look at his leaving this foreign place (earth) as his true homegoing (heaven). Lord knows that we are here for just a little while to prepare for our forever. I will miss his spirit, smile, song, and hands so much. I know that the love that you put in LaRon will put an ease to the struggle of letting go of loved ones. Once again I love you and will KEEP you in my prayers. "Halllelujah, another saint has gone home into eternity to sing praises unto the Lord... all the day long."

From the first time I heard Lisa Gaddie sing @ MacArthur I remember thinking, "that girl can sang" it has been nearly 18 years and I feel the same way today. Since then I had the opportunity to hear her brother LaRon on numerous occasions and the feelings were mutual. Talented, anointed and gifted all adjectives to describe a young man full of life and so willing to be used by God. Though we may not see his smile or hear his voice the memories will always be there to cherish in our hearts. May God continue to strengthen the family and remember "IT IS WELL"

Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. LeAndrew you will be greatly missed...

But, he is going to be watching all of us.

To the ENTIRE Gaddie Family
may Gog continue to Bless and Strengthen you in the time of bereavement.LeAndrew I called him at times. LaRon and I grew up together. I'm 4yrs older than him, but it seem like he was older than me. I was LaRon's FIRST assistat at the House Of Brown. We had times together. Early mornings and Late nights(smile). He taught me so much. Seeing that our parents stayed right down the street from one another he would come too my mother's house and do her hair and my girls were 1 and 2yrs old. He would sing and play for my daughter and put them too sleep. They would cry everytime he got ready to go home!!!!He would have too or they would fall out!!!(smile)Before I went to the Wake I was so sad, but when I got there it was like some thing came over me and said evetthing is gonna be alright, I'm with God now it had too be LaRon.I love you Laron even though we lost touch when I left Brown's I still thought of you and prayed for you and missed the close bond that we had. I hate that I did not get the chance too tell you that I love you and Thank you for all that you taught me and how a wonderful friend, brother, teacher you were too me. To Rev. Gaddie, Mother Gaddie, Christy, Lisa and the entire family remember " A voice from your household is gone, A place is vancant that can never be filled, He is gone, you have released him, you have let him go; He has so many things to see over the hill. He could not stay with us another day, to laugh, to love, to work, to play.Task left undone must stay that way, He found peace at the start of Sunday. You mustn't tie yourselves to his tears, But be happy you had as many as 32years. He gave us love, we can only guess, How much we gave to him in happiness. We are truly grateeful for the love he has shown, But now it is time he travel alone.Grieve for a while for him, if grieve you must, Then let your grief be confort by trust; Perhaps his time seemed all too brief. God wanted him too be free! God Loves you and so Do I!!!!

Be Blessed

LeAndrew....hum...so many words, but not enough space to describe his UNIQUE personality. MacArthur was never the same with LeAndrew's high kicks and flips on/off the field (in cowboy boots, smile), his great voice, but most of all his carefree personality. Right about now I know LeAndrew is in heaven styling someone's hair and trying to lead the next song in the heavenly choir. May God Bless & Keep You is My Prayer. Class of 1990.

April 23, 2004

To the family of LaRon Gaddie - Our prayers are with you during this difficult time. LaRon was a wonderful person with a wonderful spirit. Sometimes God uses a person to pass briefly through the life of another person and impact it in a way that can never be forgetten. Without a doubt He used LaRon to do just that in the lives of many people, including us. We know that this is a painful loss for your family but take comfort in knowing that because of who he was and how God used him, he may not be here physically, but his spirit will always live on in the lives of those he touched. May the peace of God that surpasses your understanding be with you always.

He always gave me an encouraging word and/or a song to help me make it through. May God continue to bless and keep you.

I had the pleasure of meeting LaRon while doing what he did best, Hair. I met him through a friend and we all had a unique relationship. Basically we laughed everytime we saw each other. I had heard so many wonderful things about LaRon and now I know them to be true. To the family, you're in my prayers. Absent from the body is present with the Lord...umph umph umph(singing) as LaRon would do. :-) Keep your heads lifted.

To the entire Gaddie family

May God continue to Strengthen you in this time of bereavement. God has Blessed LaRon to accomplish many things. He has been places and seen things and God Blessed Him to do a GOOD WORK in ministry. We have enjoyed His gift for many years. He even cut my sons hair when my son was a year old.(Great patience) That was 16 yrs. ago. He was a great motivator and did not mind boosting someone else. He was secure in his calling and what God had him to do. We will continue to keep the family lifted up in prayer knowing that Jesus is the Great Consoler.

To The Gaddie Family:

My sincere condolences goes out to each and everyone of you at this difficult time. We have truly lost one of "Houston's Best in the Hair Biz". And of course he had a voice on him! We just loved when he would just belt out and sing anything. Funny, kind, and always, always would keep you laughing until the time you got up out of his chair; that's the type of person he was. You will truly be missed and God Bless you. Continue to SMILE always!
