"A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth."
Ecclesiastes 7:1

What fond memories the name L.B. Shirley brings to all of his friends and family. He was a truly memorable man that made a difference. He was and will always will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was always quick with an entertaining story, a funny quip or if needed good advice and council. He will be sorely missed and the world will be a different place without him.
