Tillman family,
I know that your hearts are heavy and that there is a void that can never be replaced, but know that he was a man with a kind, and gentle spirit that touched a lot of lives at 1001 Louisiana Street. May God keep you, and comfort you in your time of grief for he will truly be missed.

I am so sad to hear of Smokey's passing. He was a nice man: always friendly and never an unkind word. He was looking forward to his retirement. It is sad to think that he didn't live to enjoy more of it. May God's love be with his family in this time of sorrow.

Although I only knew Smokey for a short while, he left a lasting impression on me. Quick to laugh and tell a tale, he brightened up your day. He was a hard worker, dedicated and always had a kind word to say when you needed a lift. He was strong and had great luck with the scratch offs. He will be missed greatly and I know he is enjoying his days in the sun. Big hugs in heaven Smokey, you've earned the rest.
