Margaret Moller Obituary

Margaret (Peggy) Moller, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2014. She was born in New York City on June 20, 1921 and moved to Houston in 1970 with her husband and daughter.
Peggy received her Bachelor's degree from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA and her Masters from Columbia University Teachers College in New York. She dedicated her life to a career in education and loved being a teacher. In addition, she enjoyed travel and new experiences and had the opportunity to live in Germany, Japan and Australia. So, in addition to teaching in New York and Houston, she also taught in Yokohama Japan and Perth Australia, retiring in 1989 from Houston ISD.
She is preceded in death by Fred, her husband of 62 years. She is survived by her daughter Jane, her sister-in-law Mildred Koetzner and nephews John and Bob Koetzner and their families. A graveside service will be held at a future date at Holy Cross Cemetery in New Jersey.

We valued Peggy's love of reading and knowledge of literature during the many years she belonged to the book club at the Kendall Library. She served as the president of the book club in 1996-97 and lead our book selection meetings. She will be deeply missed.
