Marilyn Rita Riegler

MARILYN RITA RIEGLER passed away on May 23, 2009 and went to be with our loving Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. Marilyn was born in 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to James and Phyllis O'Grady. At the age of 14, she met the love of her life, Paul Riegler. They were inseparable in their love and devotion to one another for over 57 years. Marilyn's unwavering faith in God was reflected by 32 years of service at St. John Vianney Catholic Church as Eucharistic Minister and church volunteer. She was active in the Women's Charity Guild and Church sponsored activities. She leaves in God's care her loving husband, Paul; children, Pat, Paul, Bill, Robert, Christopher, and Nancy; 21 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family is especially grateful to the host of friends that loved Marilyn and added much joy to her and Paul's life. A special thank you to our angel, Miranda, from Hospice who helped the family during the difficult time at the end of her life. A Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at a reception following the Mass at the SJV Activity Center.
