Mimi was my sons teacher for two years. She was always giving us words of encouragement in the afternoons after a long day. She was so helpful during those early years. We will miss her.

Brian,
I just spoke with you yesterday and learned of your dear wife, Mimi's passing, as you were out on your usual route w Sadie and your other gorgeous Lab. Again, I am so sorry that I did not know sooner, as I would have attended the service. Most of all, I am so very sorry for the loss of your soulmate and cherished wife and mother to your children. What an accomplished woman Mimi was. It takes a very special person to know how to truly connect with and support the special needs community. She was undoubtedly a woman of great compassion and strength; one of the angels on Earth, sent to truly do God's work! May she rest easy in God's loving arms, free from all pain. I send you and your family love, light and power to endure the indescribable anguish of your loss and find healing and comfort in each other. Your friend and BGP neighbor, Allison Marich

I just heard about Mimi's passing. I worked with the summer vacation church school back in the early 1990s and met Mimi there. She was always smiling and laughing and a great teacher. Then, we reconnected when she was at SBISD, talk about those times at Holy Spirit, and visit on occasion. My most recent memories with Mimi were at Lifetime Fitness in Sunday morning yoga class. We would catch up - in between her travels to Colorado - and enjoyed the calmness of class. I was not even aware of her cancer. I will always remember Mimi's generous spirit and smile.
