Jan, my Sister, my Friend and my Mother, i remember the first time i came to West U Church of Christ, you were the first person i had contact with. You made me feel at home and introduced me.
You showed me so much love, even when i got myself into trouble, u showed so much understanding and never judged me, Thanks for coming to the Hospital to meet my Son, I'm glad you were able to see and hold him, i will tell him how much you love and care for him when he comes of age.how can i describe how Awesome you are.
I wonder why you have to go so soon, i guess Heaven was in need of a KIND HEARTHED, LOVINGLY person, that's why you were called Home.
I will never forget You because you have done so much for me, i'm glad you are home now, pain free, REST ON DEAREST TILL WE MEET TO PART NO MORE. WE LOVE YOU.

My dear friend Jan - we worked together for many years and then lost touch only to reconnect just a few months ago - I am so glad we did. I will always remember your strength and faith as you prepared for your final journey. I pray that your family finds comfort with loving memories during this difficult time.

I met Miss Jan about 5 years back. I moved in the nieghborhood (actualy about 5 houses down from hers) She has always had a great smile and always wanted to help anyone that she could. My Mom had past away 2 years ago. Jan was there to give me a card and also prayed for me and my family. She reminded me of my mom. I looked at Jan as a second mom. I told her soo and she loved that I said that all the time. Jan we will miss you alot and hope that you will always be looking out for us as we go on with our lives. I pray for the family and the friends.

Life! We,ve been long together
Through pleasant and through cloudy weather;
Tis hard to part when friends are dear,-
Persaps,t will cost a sigh, a tear;
Then steal away, give little warning,
Choose thine own time;
Say not "Good Night" but in some brighter clime
Bid me "Good Morning."
