Mary Weismann Peterson
12/27/1927 - 01/31/2025
Mary Weismann Peterson died peacefully on January 31, 2025 at the age of 97. A native Houstonian, Mary was born on December 27, 1927 to George Francis Weismann and Estelle Claus Weismann. She was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents, her in-laws Antone Lewis Peterson and Alfreda Jenkins Peterson, her sisters Edna W. Reed and Doris W. Graham and her daughter in law Lynn McNabb Peterson.
She is survived by her children George Alfred (Al) Peterson, Jr. and Pam Slack, Larry A. Peterson and wife Mary, Julie P. Storm and husband Hal Carr, grandchildren Hallie P. Parchman and husband Louis, Douglas S. Peterson, Kelly P. Cliburn and husband Jay, Lindsay P. Nelson and husband Andrew, Craig J. Peterson and wife Tahra, Stacey P. She was affectionately known as Cita to her family, and nothing made her happier than to corral as many of them as she could as often as possible. She was a true matriarch.
