Uncle Mauro, it's been numerous years since God took you home to his heavenly kingdom. I'm certain that you're quite happy being with your loved ones that were waiting to be reunited with you.

Although, I'm no longer a part of the Garcia family, I have many fond memories of times that your nephew and I spent with you and Aunt Gloria. Thank you for always welcoming us into your home. We enjoyed our time spent with both of you, more than you know.

One day, when it's our turn to depart this world, we'll be reunited with you and Tia. Until then, rest assured that you all haven't been forgotten.

Love you both.

The Shipos family feels very fortunate to have had Mauro in our lives. Mark and Mauro spent many nights talking for hours at our family togethers. Mark enjoyed every minute of it. Justin spent so much time with Barrett that Mauro became a surrogate grandfather to him. Mauro once told me how much he enjoyed it when Justin gave him big hugs. He was such loving man with a big heart.

We will all miss him. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Garcia and Carter family.

With Love, The Shipos Family
