Dear Maxcy:

It was a pleasure knowing you while having the friendship of the Elledge family. There is not a time that I was with you that you were not smiling and gracious to all. How wonderful to have been a Hathorn!!! Beauty must run in the family.

Rest well now and I will see you again.

Fondly,

To the wonderful family of Maxcy and Rebecca,

I was so heartbroken when I heard of the fire, only to later learn that you are dear family friends of my special Aunt,Beth Perry in Hattiesburg. She and all of your friends in Hattiesburg (Sara, etc) send their love and prayers to comfort you all at this time. My dear Aunt 'Ibby' considers you family.I know I would have loved knowing both Maxcy and Rebecca. What a wonderful loving legacy they have left with you all.
