Nic,
something happend on the day of your
birth
A band of sunlight slipped to earth
And scattered its rays on the days we would know
And glazed each one with a gentle
glow
And through all our times of pleasure and strife
Your light and smile has graced our
life
And as we say goodbye we must celebrate too
For much of our joy was born with you
Nic, we love you

Mere,
Today is your birthday and it has been
a very hard day without you and Nic.
I can't imagine any celebration being
complete without you and Nic. The holidays were difficult, but we got
through them. But now we face the
rest of our life without seeing
Nic's sweet face and calling you
just to talk. But I know that we
will be together again in Heaven.
Until then we love you and miss you
everyday.
Love always, Your family

Meredith was my much loved friend for about 13 years. I last spoke to her a few hours before the accident and we laughed- like we had so many times before. Her love, her loyalty and her sarcastic wit were treasures that she shared with me...and gifts that I will hold in my heart always.
The love she had for Nicholas, her parents, GiGi, Jon and Kathleen was unwaivering and beyond measure.
Meredith and Nicholas will be sorely missed by all who knew them.
They are so loved.

Nicky was my friend from Bushi Ban. It is a great tragedy to lose a friend or family member but you should know that Nicky and his mom are in a better place.

I used to babysit Meredith Lynn. She was a precious bundle of joy and I am so glad that I had the chance to play with her. I send my deepest sympathies to Miss Gloria, Bonnie and Jon, but please know that she is with the Lord and in a much better place. I only knew Nicholas threw conversations with Miss Gloria who loved him so much. Meredith and Nicholas are in my prayers as well as Miss Gloria, Bonnie, Jon and all of the family.

I didn't know the family, but was touched by the family photo. God has a purpose, we might not know it yet or understand it, but one day we will. God, bless these two families and take comfort that they were not alone.

I too worked with Meredith for many years at M.D. Anderson Hospital and then I referred her to her job at Metro where we worked for years. Meredith used to come over to our house in Pasadena and we would have nice little parties. She was the one who also always fixed my "out of style" wings (my bangs) back when and to this very day I will wear the new hairstyle she gave me so many years ago.. I was also there to visit her in the hospital when she had Nick. I can also recember a swimming party at her new house. This is such a shock but I take comfort in knowing her and her son are together now in a happier place. God bless them and her family.

I didn't know Meredith, but Nick went school with my daughter. It broke my heart to hear of this tragic accident, but we can rejoice to know that they joined our Lord and Saviour together. Our prayers are with their family.

I worked with "MEREDITH" as a Medical Transcriptionist in Diagnostic Imaging Transcription Services at MD Anderson Center in the early 1990's. She was certainly a joy to work with! She was a beautiful and spirted young woman. I never did get to meet her son, Nicholas, as I left MDACC in Nov. 1993. "Meredith" invited me to her parents' home in Clear Lake, Texas for Thanksgiving dinner in the early 1990's, and I really felt like part of the family when having dinner in their home, what a wonderful family! I truly sympathize with your tragic losses, as I too can relate to loss through death of very close loved ones, (the loss of all my grandparents, both my parents as I am an "only child", my mother was only 48 when she died from cancer in 1976, and it will be 29 years Oct. 10th since my mother passed and today September 30th would have been my mother's 76th birthday (I was only 19 years old when my mother died), and my father died 5 years ago at age 74 - my parents were really all the family I had left) so family, what little I had meant a lot to me. Thank God Meredith's family is large so you have a better emotional support system hopefully. But you have the support of not just family but friends. We all will truly miss "Meredith" and "Nicholas".

I loved Meredith so dearly and will miss her wonderful, sarcastic sense of humor. We sure had a lot of fun and this is such a tremendous loss for everyone. Nicholas was so precious and his mother loved him so..

Meredith and I worked together at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She was funny and at times compassionate. I met her son once when he was about 4 years old. I know you, the family and friends will miss them so much. Words cannot explain what you are going through at this time. Rely on God and the sweet, wonderful memories.
