I like to think of Michael as being on the grandest of cruises right now. He has sailed past the horizon and beyond our sight but his memory will not fade.

Michael was a gentle man AND a gentleman. He always called me on my birthday, even though he didn't know me very well. It is evident how loved he was and how missed he will be by all.

Michael was a wonderful friend, brother and partner. He now has wings big enough to watch, guide and protect all that he loved.

Cathy, John & all those who loved Michael. It's hard to find the right words at a time like this but all I can say is that I know BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that Michael is no longer in pain & that his journey hasn't ended. He has begun another journey...the cycle of life continues. And you will see him again. Everyone remember Michael in prayer. It still works even though he's on the other side.

Oh, Michael, it's still hard to believe. You fought so hard for so long, but I know it was time to let go. No more suffering, little brother. I'll always love you and will hold you in my heart until I see you again.

To John, Cathy, and the Sharp family,
Although I did not know Michael for very long, my interactions with him allowed me to see what a kind and gentle man he truly was.
He taught me to live life to the fullest, even knowing that your days and hours are limited. I will never forget him. Rest in peace, Michael. I know you are free now.
With love, Carolyn
