Michelle Jockers Obituary

Michelle Darlene Jockers
12/07/1966 - 11/25/2023
Michelle Darlene Jockers. 11/25/2023. Our beloved Michelle passed into the Loving Arms and rests in Peace. Michelle endured many years with serious medical conditions and the side effects of treatment, so we take comfort that she is no longer suffering. Michelle is survived by her mother, Donna Lindsey; dad, Ron Lindsey; sister, Kathy Russell; life partner, John Davis; aunt, Jan Lall; nephews, Max Russell and Sam Russell, cousin, Jessica Lall and beloved kitties, Mireille and Meeko.
Michelle graduated from Rice University with a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and always excelled in music and the arts. She was a gifted pianist as well as a voice performer. She was cast as Mimi in a production of La Boheme. Michelle was an avid crocheter and found fulfillment crocheting prayer shawls for those going through medical and emotional challenges.
Breeding and showing Chartreux cats was a passion and calling for Michelle. Michelle's cattery produced many award winning Chartreux, each with a sweetness and personality that reflected Michelle's own. We know they joyfully greeted her as she entered the Everlasting.
Though gifted in the arts, Michelle's vocation was finance. Even without a finance related degree, Michelle was able to achieve certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst and held positions in wealth management firms until her medical conditions became too severe.
Michelle, ma belle, "sont des mots qui vont tres bien ensemble", you will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew you.
