Linda,Micah,Taylor, and Aaron, may God's loving arms wrap around you in this time of deep sorry. We do not have words to express our sorry for your family. We do know the love Miky had for all of you is only surpassed by the Love He had for our Lord.We miss the GREAT lessons and the simply way He delivered them so we could get the message.

Linda, Micah, Taylor, and Aaron, I am so sorry to hear of Micky's passing. But the sorow isn't for him. I am confident that things have never been better for him. His passion for God in the midst of this battle was such an encouragement to me. Many have learned how to live, but only those closest to God can show us how to die (Phil 1:20). I just want to offer my sympathy for your deep loss. I will always cherish Mickey's life, and the example he led. I will miss his sermons and teachings, but they will always be in my heart. He was always kind and warm. My prayers is for God's comfort and loving arms to continue to hold you, and your sons, and carry you through. God bless you.

I did not know Mickey very long, but it was obvious from the beginning that he was an unusual man.
I trust the Lord gives the family the strengh to heal after their deep loss.

Linda, Taylor, Micah, and Aaron - We just learned today about Micky going home to heaven. I'm so sorry we didn't know in time to come to the funeral. Micky and Taylor were such a comfort at Josh's funeral. In the midst of our sadness, they put aside their sadness to comfort us, and meet our needs. It was so helpful to us. I pray for God's peace and comfort for you all. I know Micky and Josh are smiling down at us from their heavenly perch. Please give us a call when you feel like you can. We love you all more than words can express. Riley says hello and sends kisses. She's in first grade at Dodson now, and rides the bus every morning. She asks all the time when she will be big enough to catch the bus where Taylor and Josh used to, down at the main road. It makes me smile everytime she asks. - Joy and Tom

Micky was a bright shinging light for our congregation, we are very saddened that we will not have his bright shinging light in our pulpit, guiding us and preaching Gods word, as he did so well. Micky fought so hard and set such a shining example to us in how he dealt with his illness. We loved so much his great personality and sense of humor. Micky shoes will be hard to fill. He brought such enthusiasm, dedication and wonderful inspiration in all his sermons. We always looked forward to hearing Micky. Our loss is Heavens gain. We know he is at peace and has earned his great reward! We loved Micky so much and we will miss him so much, but he will remain a shining light in our hearts forever. May God Be with all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.Though i hadn't seen Mickey in many years he remained a friend.I played high school baseball with Mickey back in Woodruff,S.C.

Glancing around from pulpit to pew,
An empty seat came into view.
Our dear brother with smiling face,
Had once filled this empty space.
Silently I bowed to pray,
Lord, Please tell Mickey, he was missed today!
Linda and sons, I wrote this in honor of Mickey who will be greatly missed and a man like him will leave an empty spot that will be hard, if ever to fill. Love and prayers, Darla Hill and family from Tennessee.
