Milton Elskes Obituary

MILTON "HOWARD" ELSKES, 83, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2005 in Houston, Texas. He attended Sam Houston High School, University of Houston, Texas A&M, and was a WWII Veteran. After a lengthy employment, he retired from Schlumberger in 1985. Howard was a charter member of St. Stevens Methodist Church. Howard is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anne Rogers Elskes; children, "Skip" Elskes, Bobbie Elskes and wife Judy, Fae Krenek and husband John; sister, Lela Pattillo; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2005 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors. Interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Dear Cousins,

I am so very sorry for all of you to loose such a sweet husband and dad. I'll never smell pipe tobacco or hear a low chuckle without remembering. My heart just goes out to all of you. I'm so sorry we couldn't be with you today.
