Milton Stokes Obituary

COL. MILTON WAYNE STOKES, RET. TXSG. 5-19-1938 to 6-29-2007. Son of Milton Homer Stokes & Willie Mae McAlister Stokes. He is survived by wife Janna Phillips Stokes, two children Ronald W. and Cynthia, two step children Shane and Denise, 5 sisters and 3 brothers of Alabama, one granddaughter and five grandsons. The family invites his many friends to celebrate his life at the National Guard Armory, 2917 San Augustine Ave, Pasadena, Tx. 77503 this Saturday, July 7th at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in his name to your favorite charity, the Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe Blvd, 77030-4123 or to fund a scholarship being set up in his name at the Bailey Military Institute, 2626 S. Loop, Suite 650-M, 77054.
