Myron Gallison Obituary

MYRON GERALD GALLISON , was embraced by his loving family when he was called by our Lord on March 26, 2005. He was born December 3, 1946 in Thayer, Kansas to Ida Jane Gallison of Chanute, Kansas. Myron was in the U.S. Army from 1964-68 and served in the Viet Nam War. He worked as an Assistant Transportation Manager for The Chronicle from August 1979 to January 1981. In 1980, he married his wife of 25 years, Martha Gallison of Porter, Texas. He then opened and operated his own business, Mt. Houston Tire Disposal. Myron was a loving and caring man who enjoyed taking his wife, children and grandchildren on camping and fishing trips. His deep affections and caring ways will especially be missed and remembered by his grandchildren as well as family members and friends. Mr. Gallison is survived by his wife, Martha Gallison, daughters, Emily Elizondo and her husband, Mark Montemayor of Humble, Texas, Naomi Ybarbo and her husband, Jose of Humble, Texas, Tammy Gallison of Chicago, Illinois; son, Santiago "Jimmy" Elizondo, Jr. and his wife, Blanca of Humble, Texas; sisters, Diane Owen and Carol Smith; brothers, Rex Miller and Jimmy Miller; grandchildren, Whitley Chappell; Alyssa, J.J. & Andrew Ybarbo; Mark, Joseph, & Daniel Montemayor; Karina, J.J. & Adriana Elizondo. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 54 North, Kingwood, TX 77339. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005 in the Chapel of Kingwood Funeral Home.
