1938-2016
Neil Bronfman Lande passed away December 19, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Born on March 30, 1938 to Milly and Bernard Lande of Montreal, Canada. He spent his early years attending school in Montreal where he developed a passion for hockey. His talent as a hockey player enabled him to get a scholarship to Babson University where he continued to play hockey and earned a degree in business. In 1961 he married Myrna Bregman of Houston, Texas. He and Myrna lived in Montreal, New York and Houston. They had two daughters, Lynne and Caroline. In 1982 he married Carole Porcelan and they raised their two children, Stephen and Sara, in Houston. Neil is survived by his four children, his son in law, Stephen Esses, his daughter in law, Diane Lande and three grandchildren, Marlee, Dane and Andrew Esses. He is survived by his siblings, Eric Lande, Margot Lande and Ruth Shuman and his nephews and nieces, David Shuman and Alex and Michael Shuman.
