N.T. (Nelson Trawick) Womack, Jr., 94, of Webster, Texas died peacefully in his home, with Fay his wife of 73 years by his side, on the 13th of June 2016.
He was born in Marshall, Texas to Nelson Trawick Womack, Sr. and Lyra Hill Womack. He was their only child, proving at an early age to be quick in wit, intelligent, and always thinking of new adventures and challenges.
He graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas and attended Texas A&M University in College Station earning a Petroleum Engineering degree.
N.T. was preceded in his death by two sons, Daryl Franklin Womack and Robert Wayne Womack.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 73 years, Patricia Fay Womack. Surviving children are daughter Kimberlyn Womack and her friend Jim Haigler, son Tra (Trawick) Layne Womack and his wife Nancy Womack, Tra's son Nelson Glenn Womack and his wife Christi Womack, Nancy's sons Luke Fojtik, Shelby Fojtik and his wife Samantha, and daughter April Eindorf. Daryl Womack's daughter Angela Womack Taylor and husband Rick, and son Daryl Womack Reeves. Other survivors include six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at eleven-thirty in the morning on Friday the 17th of June 2016, at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway (Exit 13), Texas City, TX 77591.
