We lived next door to Opal and Pat in Houston. They were wonderful neighbors, and they had a lot of patience putting up with all the neighborhood kids!
Opal was a great lady, and I will miss her dearly.

My dad, Olan Horn, aka "Pop" is also a resident at the Terrace-Champions. I met 2 of you nieces at Mrs. Patterson's birthday celebration. You were very kind to answer my questions and share photographs of Mrs. Patterson's life and wartime experiences. Thank you for sharing with me. I appreciate her service to our county.
