Currently in the middle of the Caribbean talking to people from Arkansas and it just reminded me of my good friend Oscar Gray. We spent many wknds together with our GFs and he had many fans as a Seahawk. I recall him bringing RICKY Watters up to Vancouver, BC as well. Thanks for the great memories Big O. May you Rest In Peace.

It was only two weeks before his passing that I last talked to Oscar. He was a nice humble man. I've known him for 19 years. I will always remember him and he will always have a place in my heart. I was overcome with sadness and disbelief at first, but the good news is that God is taking care him and some day we shall meet again. I love you Big Ray,always in my heart.--- Jeanell (Nelly)

Even though I did not know Oscar personally, I just wanted to give words of encouragement. Only God knows how you feel to lose a child, so in all that you do hold on to the memories and know that God will always be with you when the moment becomes too much to bare alone.

To The Family of Oscar Gray (aka "OG")
My sincerest condolences for your loss. I met Oscar at Arkansas as a member of the Razorback Football program for which I served as a Razorback Belle for three years. Throughout our time at University of Arkansas, I had the opportunity to get to know Oscar during social activities and through mutual friends. I cannot recall a time that he was not in good spirits or a pleasure to be around. So many of us were dismayed by the news of his Homegoing. May God continue to strengthen you all during this time and bless every moment thereafter.

Oscar was a classmate at M.B. Smiley, there are no words that can help someone get past the hurt of losing a loved one, just remember that God makes no mistakes, and there is now a new angel in heaven by the name of Oscar Ray Gray. Be blessed and keep your mind staying on Jesus.

It's been a long time. We all have gotten older and are now adults, but the memories will always be there. I don't have to speak of all of the memorable moments, but I knew Ray as a friend and neighbor for most of my childhood life, and I would like to say to Nikki, Keithy and Ms.Doris, I know it seems dark and lonely now without him and Liz, but GOD had a purpose and I know that we all will see him again. He'll still have that vibrant smile as always! May GOD bless you with strength and peace Ms. Doris. All of you will always be in our prayers. From the Patton Family.

To My Beloved Fraternity Brother,
Words cannot describe how much you will be missed by your family, friends, and loved ones. Memories of you throughout your time as a great classmate at M.B. Smiley will forever be remembered by everyone from the Class of 1991. On behalf of all the members of Omega Psi Phi, I would like to leave these encouraging words with the family. Oscar will be missed by us all, but in this time of bereavement, remember that he is gone from this world of suffering and if we keep God first in our lives, we all will see him again.

When losing someone so admirable, it is difficult to find the words to express the feelings within. Oscar was a Godsend and needed for a greater plan. Although much time has passed since seeing Oscar, all my memories are good ones. To the family, may time bring serenity to your hearts yet allow the memories to never fade.

It is always difficult to hear about a fallen Eagle (Smiley 1991). Though I hadn't seen Oscar since shortly after graduation, I always have memories of him as a happy, kind and thoughtful person. My sympathy and prayers go to his family during this difficult time.
