Pedro Mora Obituary

PEDRO MORA (PETE) went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. Pete was born in Laredo, Texas on October 18, 1943. Pete was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Margarita Mora, his brother Frank Mora and sister Irene Sandstedt. Pete retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber after 26 years, retiring in 2000. Pete was an official umpire for high school baseball. He was also a committed University of Texas and Dallas Cowboy Football fan. His life will be remembered for his loving kindness to all who surrounded him, especially his family. He is survived by his wife Janie Mora and his children, Sandra Richnow, Priscilla Mora Garcia, Dena Patterson, Pete Mora Jr., Rodney Mora, and Jason De La Cruz; grandchildren; Tessa Lee, Zachary Golden, Jake Richnow and Christopher Richnow. Brothers and sisters; Josie Ruiz, Margie Duke, Alice Mora Garcia, Becky Wolf, Johnny Mora, Luis Mora, Paul Mora and Danny Mora. Pete will be missed dearly by his family and all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday January 16, 2009 from 5:00 - 9:00pm including a rosary to be recited starting at 7:30pm later that evening. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday January 17, 2009 at 2:00pm. All of the services will be held at the following location, Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Boulevard, Pasadena TX. 77502.
