Pelom Adron "Paul" Aden

Pelom "Paul" Adron Aden, 92, peacefully passed away on Monday, January 21, 2008. Dad was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Pelom was born March 11, 1915 in Oakhurst, Texas to Marlin and Alma Aden. He is preceded in death by both parents and his brother Corbitt and sisters Ila, Ada and Dorothy. He was a 32nd degree Mason. For many years Paul owned "Aden's Garage" in the Woodland Heights area of Houston and after retirement moved to Willis, Texas. He remained there, living on the shore of Lake Conroe, until health and age forced him to move back to Houston. Pelom is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Mary Helen Aden; son, John "Buddy" Aden and wife Patsy Ann "Pat" Aden; grandchildren, Kenneth Aden, Kaylyn Merricks and husband Jimmy Merricks and Kandi Gibbs and husband John Gibbs; great grandchildren Nicolas and Katelyn Merricks and Brandon, Jordan and Christian Gibbs and step-great grandchildren Angela Ware and Cory Alegnani. The family wishes to thank Dr's Stanley Yang, Richard Kim and Attiya Khan for helping him live his last few years, and VistaCare and Asera Care hospice for comforting him in his last days. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
