Phillip Kirschner Obituary

PHILLIP KIRSCHNER was born April 20, 1988, in Galveston, Texas, from a loving relationship between his father, George M. Kirschner, Jr. and mother, Lena Bruce, M.D. He was a fun loving, tender, compassionate young man that couldn't tolerate being separated from his father who died December 14, 2004. He accomplished his deepest desire and is now visiting with his father, George M. Kirschner, Jr. and his grandparents, George M. Kirschner, Sr. and Jimmie Kirschner. Phillip left several words of advice to all who knew him, urging everyone to make the right choices in life and led by example and not just words. He was a senior at La Marque High School and a member of the Tennis Team. He attended Abundant Life Christian Center in La Marque. He left to cherish and continue his work, his mother, Lena M. Bruce, and sister, Heather Kirschner. Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, February 3, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, with Brother James Benson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East in Webster. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, February 2, at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Gary Kirschner, Mike Strait, Alvin Plasek, Joe Raup, Jeff Staggs, and Vincent Clark. Prayer and donations will be greatly appreciated. In memory of Phillip, a trust fund has been established at Regions Bank, Acct. #8511273299, Rt. #111900785. EMKEN-LINTON (409)945-4444
