Phoebe Welsh graced my life, and I am a better person for her having been here. I will miss her, and I count myself lucky to have known her. I am saddened at her death, but my sadness is for myself, as it means there is a hole in my life. May we all live by her example, and lend this world as much charm and grace as she. I grieve for her children, her grandchildren and all her friends who will miss her dear presence.

The epitome of southern charm and grace, Phoebe Welsh was an inspiration; one of the kindest, most loving, selfless, joyful, and giving individuals I've ever known. With a generous heart and genuine compassion, Phoebe’s love, service, sacrifice, loyalty, and the unique talents and insight she brought to Texas Children's will live on through her legacy, breathing hope and healing into the lives of children, mothers, and families for years and years to come.

I pray for God's abundant love and enduring support for those Phoebe loved most of all, her precious family and cherished friends.

What a sweet and lovely person. She shared a love of gardening with myself and my beloved empolyer, the late Marylouise Cowan of Southport, Maine. Timothy Hill will never be the same. May God comfort both family and friends in their time of loss.

Dear Phoebe, Johnny, Ted and David,
I am simply devastated as your mom was so special to me. But I know that she was a strong Christian woman and so I find comfort that she is with her Lord. I will miss Mrs. Welsh so much and her delightful manner of always thinking of others first and her huge smile that made everyone feel special in her life. I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone...what a legacy to leave.
My heart and prayers are with each of you and your family.
