R. Allemier Obituary

R. JUSTIN ALLEMIER, born January 22, 1986 in Dallas, Texas passed away unexpectedly March 25, 2002 in the Woodlands, Texas at the age of 16. Known for his outgoing personality, gentle spirit and loving heart, Justin was a sophomore at McCullough High School. He had a musical passion for his drums and guitar, rode his dirt bike as time would allow, and snow boarded as often as possible. He even helped his mother, beginning at the tender age of three, get through medical school. He is survived by mother, Dr. Nancy Washburn; father and step-mother, Robert Sterling and Mary Allemier; grandparents, Norman and Pauline Goerge and Fran Allemier; step-sister, Amy; step-brother, Michael; five Aunts; three uncles and numerous cousins and his beloved Sheltie "Baron". The family will receive friends at four o'clock Wednesday, March 27, 2002 in the Chapel at Forest Park-The Woodlands for a brief service honoring his life. A private Rosary for Justin's family will be recited at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday. Funeral Services: 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 28, 2002 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Al Walsh officiating. Dear Chief Master Allemier and Family,

I was so saddened to hear of your tragic loss, as I also have a 16 year old son. I have searched to find the right words that might offer you some comfort, knowing that there is probably nothing that I can say or do that will take away the hurt. How can we ever overcome the loss of a child? Today I came accross something that brought me some comfort so I am enclosing it in hopes that it will also bring some comfort to you and your family in your time of sorrow. May God watch over you and carry you through this time as only he can.

Eagles in a Storm"

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?

The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come.

When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them.

God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm. Remember, it is not the

burdens of life that weigh us down; it is how we handle them.

The Bible says, "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles." Isaiah 40:31

You are in our thought and prayers.

CM & Mrs Allemier and Dr. Washburn,

Our heartfelt condolences to your families. You are in our prayers at this most difficult time. We pray that the passing of time will heal your hearts, that the support of your multitude of friends and ATA family will bring you comfort, and that the cherished memories will bring you solace. Justin's many, many friends speak volumes for the person he became, respected and looked up to by so many. Until the day you are re-united with him again, may you find support from friends and strength in the Scripture.

My deepest sympathies to you all in what is most certainly the most difficult times of your lives. I also lost a child, although much younger than Justin. She died exactly two years ago, and not a day goes by that I don't think of her and remember her.

I never had the priviledge of meeting Justin, however, you have been an inspiration to me through ATA & I can only imagine the tremendous amount of pride & love shared between you & your son.

During Spring Nationals, at my instructors school, Mr. Ron Boswell, a tragic car accident took the life of one of his 16 year old students. During times like these, we are taught not to question God, but I really had a hard time with it. I took comfort in knowing that Kristin Lane's untimely death was for the sole reason that God needed another angel!

In your time of sorrow, please take pride in knowing that God has another angel to look after us all!

justin was a dear friend of mine and will be missed dearly,i looked up to him and was my main source of insperation, he was such a great guy, but we need to remember that he lives with all of us now in our hearts, never let the memories fade because there a precious thing to hold on to. Ive known justin for some time now and in that timehe taught me what it is too have a true friend and and he also taght me its not the place that matters its the friends, having come over from England about a year ago and missing it loads, but now i know it was the people and good friends i really missed and justin is one of the ones that made me feel wanted and gave me good reason to want to stay, freindship is a valuable thing! one thing that everybody needs to learn is to think about everybody they know, then think of each one......if they were gone the next day would you fell sorrow and guilt and the other harsh and painfull emotions that follow the loss of a dear friend, if the answer is yes then respect andcherish that relationship because it could of happend to them! None of us expected justin to go but he did and we must never forget the kind considerate person justin allemier was. not one person regrets meeting him and we are all thankfull that we got to meet such a person. if there is one person that we owe justin its to live our lifes sharing the memories (and thanks to him theres alot of them!)and keeping him alive within us, i for one will never stop thinking about him and the great times we had together and i wont stop to hesitate to tell them, what will u do with yours? justin is with us always, i will never forget that and thats why we need to share our time of grief and come round to a time of sharing memories of the good times that we all had and shared with justin.I send my support and love to all the friends and familys that were so lucky to meet such a great person.
