Dr. Rafael Verduzco

DR. RAFAEL VERDUZCO, MD, age 62, passed away Thursday, September, 25, 2008 in Sugar Land, Texas. Rafael was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. He was able to touch many peoples' lives, working as a family practitioner in both Weslaco and Houston for over 35 years. He loved sports and camping but above all, he loved spending time with his family. Rafael is survived by his wife, Alicia; sons, Daniel, Rafael, and Miguel; daughter, Cecilia; brothers, J. Alfonso, Juan Manuel, and Luis Gerardo; sister, Lourdes V. de Martinez; and step-mother, Ma. del Carmen R. de Verduzco. A visitation with the family will be held in the chapel of Earthman Funeral Directors Southwest, on Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a rosary to be recited at 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, September 29, 2008, at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, with the Rev. Drew Wood, Celebrant.
