Raul Rivera Jr. passed away July 4, 2014. His family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:30 Monday 7/7/2014. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Klein Funeral Home.

We never met but I've heard enough stories to say I feel like I knew you. Pipo loved the Lord and loved his family. He established the foundation of a strong family that is dedicated to serving God to this day. Raul also loved his wife, Nina. All of their children and grandchildren admire the love Raul and Nina shared and look up to that with admiration. You created a wonderful family, Pipo, and they're doing great. I hope we meet in Heaven one day. Rest in peace.

Pipo, you always told me that I was not your daughter in law, but another daughter. You used to say all the time "don't forget to pray" and now I find myself telling our kids the same thing. You were a great, godly man, wonderful father and grandfather, and a very special father in law. I am going to miss you so much, but I can't stop wondering what it is that you are doing in heaven and that brings joy to my heart. I'll always remember you as my wise uncle. You were always caring and loving. Always giving of yourself. I remember you making a tape for me of music from the 1960s. Sometimes I find myself singing the chorus to "Chantilly Lace" and it always brings a smile to my face with memories of you. I will miss you Tio Pipo, but I know I'll see you again in Heaven.
