I still think of Ray almost daily. Teaching at Betsy Ross elementary School were the best memories that I have of my 30 year career. He & Carlene became very good friends to me & my two daughters in many ways for many years.
He was such a caring & fun person.

Ray~~You were such a supportive boss and friend. You made such a difference to all of the teachers and students who were in your schools, especially at Betsy Ross Elementary !! We were treated more like family than employees. YOU made the school a place that we wanted to come to everyday. You encouraged us in our academic goals and remained my friend and birthday "twin" all the years after we all retired.
love,
Fran

You have walked through my thoughts so often lately and have proven once again that when someone is on your mind you need to connect. You were an inspiration to so many teachers and so many students---all of us carry you close to our hearts. You were a great boss but an even better friend. No one was ever more dedicated to making a difference than you. You will be missed by so many family and friends.
My thoughts are with Carlene and your family--wishing each of them a speedy journey to peace.
