Dear Lorene you do not know me but I Know Rene when we were younger. My Parents know Ralph & Teresa as we all went to the same church,my father used to preach there till he was called to pastor a church in Corpus Christi. It sadden me to hear of his death as well as his battle with cancer as I did not know about it. But it gladens my heart that he was still serving the Lord and I know he is in a better place and hearing the words from our Savior " Well done my good and faithfull servent. Well you let Ralph & Teresa know my parents also send there condolences to them as well as yourself. Please know you and your family will be in my prayers.( My parents are David & Manuela Rodriguez)

I went to U of H with Rene and we had a few classes together and were members of the HBSA organization at the university.
I am very saddened to hear of his passing.

My heart and prayers go out to Lori,Meagan,and Nathan. Rene was a good friend, with a warm smile on his face. He was a guardian angel sent from heaven. He would always help my daughter (Melissa) and cared for her like his own. Rene was her mentor.

Lori, I just cant imagine what you are going through. Rene was a wonderful person. I've had the pleasure of working with him since '97 at the Municipal Courts. He will be missed. Rene would walk into my office set in front of my desk, smile and then the conversation would continue from our last meeting. I enjoyed seeing him everyday as he walked in front of my office. I will miss him.

Rene was one of the attorneys that never complained when dealing with public sevices. He would always have a smile on his face when he was coming to the courts.
