Dr. Richard and Dr. Robert were our family doctors when we lived in Houston, 1970-1986. I loved and trusted them. They had a huge practice and sometimes the waiting room time was hours but worth it. I´ve thought of them often and wondered how their lives turned out. They meant so much to many.

Richard and Robert O Brien were very special to our family, not only as our doctor, but as a family confident over the years. Our hearts are saddened by the loss of Richard, glorified that he rose to overcome life and it's setbacks on
earth, and to become a major witness of a restored life in Jesus Christ. He lived his greatest days to be an example to all of us. Medically, Spiritually and Honorably he served us all.

I've known Dr. Richard since I was five years old and loved him very much. He was a kind, sweet, compassionate man; a person of strong faith. When I was little, he and Dr. Robert would sit behind me in church and poke me in the shoulder when they caught me reading a book so I would pay attention to the sermon. I'm so glad they did. I will miss him.
