As a Rice Institute (now University) classmate of Rita's -- although I was Class of 1956 -- I offer condolences to all the bereaved over our loss of Rita. Our small college world enabled friendships that crossed the barriers of the graduation years. Rita was a nice, well like classmate, and I can read what an asset to society she was in later life.
For the Fason children, I also attended Baylor Medical school with your Father, Fred. We were friends and I thought him to be a good man. I'm sure that he and Rita were and are proud of you all.

Rita was blessed among women, a compassionate companion, a repository of gentleness and courage. Blessed is she who blessed so many throughout her life! She was a fun friend, generous and spirited. We met at St. Annes over 40 years ago.....a long time....memories of her will always be fresh and invigorating! From here in Santa Fe, I send condolences; I shall shout her name from the mountain top!

I am so sorry to hear about Rita. She was very kind to me when I was a teenager dating her son. I look back on that time and I am just amazed how well she held everything together raising four kids, graduating from law school and later working as a lawyer. She was a real role model and I know that she will be very much missed.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Rita's family. I had the privilege of associating with Rita during our time together with John Graml and Associates, and her innate beauty, grace, elegance and compassion for others was a genuine blessings to all of us who worked with her. If our highest calling is to mentor and mirror the love of Jesus Christ to others during our life on earth, Rita is a true Champion. Truly I could say - If you knew Rita, you loved her.May God Sustain, Heal, Bless and Prosper all of her dear family in abundance in all of their pursuits and endeavors.
