I had the privilege of working with Rob on one big case. He was an excellent lawyer who always was focused on the important questions. More important, he was an honest and generous person who appreciated others and their abilities. He took great interest in his family and friends and was admired by his colleagues. Rob was a joy to know and it was my privilege to know him. I will truly miss him.

All the years that Rob was my stepfather, he taught me things and showed me ethics and beliefs that many people do not learn about at a young age. Rob went out of his way to help me when I needed advice and sometimes just someone to talk to. One of the best things that Rob ever did for me was turn me onto the game of golf. Once he found that I had taken an interest he supported me more than I think he ever realized. I will miss Rob as a father, a role model, and especially as just a great man. He taught us all a thing or two at one point and time but I think he definitely showed us all something at the end. Showing strength and courage unsurpassing that of anyone else that I have ever seen. I love you Rob and I will always miss you.

Sincerely,

Bill

Robbie was the happiest I have ever seen him when Catherine was born. He flashed her picture everywhere. He so loved his family and was unaware of his brilliancy. He seemed quiet in the extreme, only allowing his humor to surface at the most portune times. He was a gentleman and a friend; an honorable man, unassuming and humble.

I had the pleasure of working with Rob only a short ten months, but in this period of time, I gained much respect for him as an individual and co-worker. He had a great mind and put it to use brilliantly. Although the sadness of his loss does not escape any of us, my heart tells me that God loved him so much and wanted him and needed him more than any of us. Rob will be missed, but his presence will never be forgotten.
