Robert Houde Obituary

ROBERT "Bob" RAYMOND HOUDE, 65, of Beaumont died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. A native of Waterbury, Connecticut and a resident of Beaumont since 1982, Robert received a Bachelors of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Hartford in Hartord, Connecticut. He is survived by his wife, Ellen J. Blondeau Houde of Beaumont; mother, Bertha Houde LaPerriere of Beaumont; daughter, Michelle Elaine Mayo and her husband Hal of Fort Worth, Renée L. Houde Eads of Houston; grandchildren, Lane Taylor Mayo and Brittany Nicole Eads; sister, Maureen Houde Krebs of Wolcott, Connecticut; nephew, Richard Bisaillon; niece, Nicole Bisaillon Kirby; great nieces, Ivy Kirby and Camille Kirby; uncle, Raymond A. Pratt; aunt, Josephine Pratt; cousins, Richard Pratt, David Pratt, Lorraine Pratt Tasso. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2007 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will follow Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Houston National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Port Arthur International Seafarers Center, P.O. Box 1646, Port Arthur, Texas 77641.

I worked with Bob on a Project that he was on for Ref-Chem. He was always entertaining and I enjoyed his humor. I am sorry for your loss.

I only knew Bob a few weeks out here at Valero working on some new projects. He was a true gentleman.
