To the family of Robert Jr., a mild mannered soldier has gone on to be with the Lord. I am praying for you all and praying that God's blessing will comfort you in this time of grief. Robert Jr., Jackie and the entire Jessie Family was close to the Roquemore family on 37th St. in Studewood. Colevia and Robert Jr. graduated in the class of '72 from BTW and were good friends.

Although this is a difficult time, continue to put your trust in God and never let go of His hand. When the days get hard look to Him and He will comfort you like no other can do. He can ease the pain and amazingly you will begin to think on the joyous and happy times.
God's blessings and much love to all of you - Charlotte, children, grandchildren, Jackie, Veronica, Sherwin, Frank, Howard and Mr. Jessie

To the family of Mr. Robert Jessie Our hearts and prayers go out to you..I'd like to share my story with you hopping it will bring a little smile on your face..I didn't know Rev Jessie never even met him.. Saturday morning my husband found out about the services but couldn't attend because of work. Tim (my husband) worked with Rev. Jessie at Grant Prideco and Tenaris the last 16 years ..He asked me if I could go by and drop some flowers off So i say of course!!I First Im having a hard time finding any kind of flowers after a hour of driving around I think I missed the services! .So I thought I hope someone will give these flowers to The Jessie Family... When I got there The service was still going on So I thought let me go in and pay my respect to this man that made such a impact on my husbands life..The church was packed there were people standing in the back of the church and doorway. so I think Il stay back here and listen..but a very nice woman found me a seat .So Im siting there and start listening to people one by one talking of rev Jessie and one by one there all saying some of the same things by husband said .. I see young mother of 2 sitting down but didn't really fit..I gave up my seat for her daughter as Im trying to leave the same woman says mame you can sit here! So I stay for a few more stories...So I think to myself ok here I am sitting alone for a person Ive never met and I really need to leave what have I gotten myself into?? ...Ok maybe someone or something wants me here so I'l stay a little longer..As I listen I laugh a little at the stories and even cry a little with the stories..I think to myself again wow this was really beautiful Im glad I decided to come in even if it was only for a minute.. Rev.Jessie was a very special person who was blessed with so many friends family and co workers who cared for him He shared his life and his love for the Lord with everyone he came in contact with ..even me a person he never even knew existed.. I only wish I would have had a chance to have known him.. . Until we all get together again Brother Jessie I will say a prayer for you.. Judy Herrera

"Earth Has No Sorrow That Heaven Cannot Heal"
On December 25, 2012 God saw fit to come and claim his son Robert Lee Jessie Jr. My oldest brother. He was my friend, my teacher, my coach, my bible drill partner but most of all my big brother.

He was the brother that you could call and ask a question and he would say, "Well"...you know...and then he would finish his thought on whatever we were talking about.

Robert touched so many lives for the time he was born until the day that he died. I this for a fact because and a little girl I was Robert, RJ, Babyhead little sister...I had no name to his friends and even today...I am still referred to as his little sister.

Robert never met a stranger and if you every met him you would remember him forever. A straight "A" student, a member of Gents, a member of the school choir, an athelete, and a great debater.

Big Brother you will forever live in my heart and mind. I am grateful to GOD for allowing you to be in my life for 49 years.

Love ya

When death comes so unexpected ,it seems as though there are no words to comfort those that are left behind. The pain is so great, the tears won't subside, and the void is so overwhelming that we feel as if no one can possibly understand. However,Charlotte,Veronica,Jackie,Sherwin, Frank,Howard and children, remember earth has no sorrow, that heaven can not heal! God,really will heal your broken heart, just let Him have all the pieces! Robert Jr. was a wonderful person and will be extremely missed, but because we know he made it in we can rejoice with the angels! That doesn't mean we will not shed tears, but we will not cry as if we have no hope, because we do know, those of us that are believers,we will see him again! Keep your hand in the Master's and your eyes lifted to the hills from whence cometh your help, knowing all your help will come from The Lord! I will continue to keep you all in my prayers! With sincere sympathy

To Uncle Robert, Charlotte and the entire Jessie family. The word of God is true the to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and we know that Robert Jr is present with Him. Robert Jr and Charlotte were here in Ft Worth seeing about their son who was ill at the time and came by had dinner it was great seeing them because it had been a long time not knowing that we would be writing this to say goodbye to a nephew and cousin. Know that in the coming days God will sustain you and give you peace that surpasses all understanding. Robert Jr, would want you to celebrate his life that was lived. Love from the Fisher family, Rev. A.V. and Verdell Fisher (uncle and aunt) Michelle, Ava and Casey (cousins ) and the Knighten Family: Aunt Bea, Uncle Henry, Calvin, Sherman and Herman Knighten.
