Robert Morrow Obituary

Dr. Walter Robert Morrow
1941-2021
Walter Robert Morrow passed away of leukemia on January 20, 2021. Bob was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on May 12, 1941, to Eleanor and Walter Crowther Morrow. He is predeceased by his mother, father and brother, Ronald.
Bob was an Eagle Scout who graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in ceramics engineering. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and the fencing team.
Upon graduation, he was hired by Owens Illinois and eventually moved to Houston. Bob decided to make a career change and was hired by Eastman Dillon Brokerage and subsequently Lehman Brothers. He married Mary B. Morrow in 1969 and they had two sons, Douglas Patton and Robert Bruff Morrow.
Bob transitioned to the real estate business and developed the Beechnut Professional Building, which sparked an interest in the medical field. He became a successful chiropractor and started Westside Physicians Clinic in Houston, Texas, which is still thriving today.
Bob met Linda Price Morrow in Houston before becoming a chiropractor. They married in 1987. Linda was an integral part in starting Westside Physicians Clinic as well as contributing greatly to its continued success.
Bob enjoyed woodworking, complex constructions projects and developing software programs. He was always quick to engage in an intellectual challenge. He was a long time member of the River Oaks Breakfast Club. Bob was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Bob is survived by his wife, Linda, son, Douglas and wife, Heather, son, Bruff and wife Harper, two granddaughters, Ellie and Cate, stepson, Greg Guggenheim and his wife Natalie, two step grandchildren, Gracie and Sophie, and stepson Grant Guggenheim.
A gathering to celebrate Bob's life will be held at a later date.

Bob,
Just thinking about you and our early days at Rutgers; studying, Kappa Sig, terrorizing New Brunswick in the Studebaker, working on your Siata with you Dad, Toledo, and general Hell Raising. Great memories. No regrets. We both did well on our separate paths and progressed further than I ever imagined for either of us.
I think of you often and I'll talk with you again, Old friend.

I just saw that Dr. Morrow had passed. I am so sad to see this. Dr. Morrow had a profound effect on my life and taught me so much of what I use today to measure success. He and his wife Lindy were always so kind and supportive. My prayers and love go out to the family.
