We knew your Mom & Dad through Uncle Joe & Aunt Effie. Cathy Milek just told us about your loss. My brothers & I spent summer vacation weeks in Houston with Effie & Joe. We had many good times playing with you, Tommy, & Joan Gayle as well as your cousins, Johnnie, Brenda & Linda. Wow, we have great, fun memories of your whole family. Be well & take comfort knowing that your family is safely in home together in heaven.

He was like my second dad...shared many years growing up seeing Bob and his wife on Sundays on the same church bench. Such a warm hearted man..will be missed and always carried in my heart.

I can remember my Mother (then Dorothy Allen) talking about Bob. To day while emptying a long forgotten cupboard I found a stack of lovely war time letter from Bob (43 to 48) to my Mother in England. He must have meant a lot to many people.

I have very fond memories of uncle Robert. I think what I will remember most is his bright, inviting smile. I always looked forward to visiting with him in our family reunions. Remembering those times when me, Craig and Lisa stayed with Uncle Robert and Aunt Jo from time to time when we were kids. That back yard seemed so big back then. We love you Uncle Robert!!!
