Melba,
My prayers are with you. Even though I have not seen you for 40 years, my heart goes out to you and your family. I remember how happy I was for you when I first learned you had married such a wonderful man all those years ago. You were a special friend of mine back in the old neighborhood. May time ease your pain and let your memories give you peace.

Many mornings as a very young child Skeeter, "My Father", would crank up the show. If not for a father that spent time with his son I would have never met Bob Jr. I thank you father for taking time with me. For I would not have the many memories of Bob Jr. and definetly the memories between a father and son like thousands of others that Bob jr. created!

We have been listening to your show for about a year now. We have used the information we have learned to improve our bass fishing techniques. We enjoyed the "tell it like it is" conversations that the show is famous for. We will greatly miss Bobby and send our deepest condolences to his family and friends. P. S. (Keep a tight line.)

Bob,
You were gracious on the air with those who were new to the Texas coast and who asked the same questions over and over again. You encouraged them, and helped make their day in the outdors better. We pray that now that you are in a better place that you will see the impact you had on those who enjoy the Texas coast in part because of your efforts.
god's peace on you and your family.

My Condolences to the family and closest friends. I have been an avid listener to Bob and Bob Jr. since 1971. I grew up listening to the show. I never met them, but felt as I knew them as family members. It is a morning ritual to drink coffee and listen to the show. I am an avid outdoorsman and I always listened to the show heading out fishing or hunting. Bob Jr. will be missed tremendously. His laidback personality was like listening to a brother, uncle or close friend. The outdoor world has suffered a great lose. We all loved him and will miss him incredibly. My prayers are with y'all.
