My deepest condolences to the Rasbach family.

While a student at the University of Texas in the '70s, I came across "The Provident Planner", which I shared with my future brother-in-law who was writing his architecture masters thesis in passive solar design at UT.

Later, we both were fortunate to tour "The Woodlands House", where we met the author who was most gracious to answer ALL of our detailed questions!

Roger Rasbach forever influenced the way I look at home design - to what degree is it sensibly livable in cost, function, space, and self-sufficiency.

He left for all of us another small joy in which to savor life! Thank you, Roger!

Roger was my good friend. I am so

happy that I met him in this life.

He brought into our friendship such wit and humor. I will miss him. we had many starbuck coffees

together.

Dear Charlene, Oscar and Roger:

It is Sunday evening and I am sending this from out of town. We have just learned of Roger's death. We are so sorry and send our love. Unfortunately I will still be out of town for the service, but we are thinking of you all and will include Roger and you in our prayers. My sister Ann also joins me in these thoughts.
