Rosa Tello Obituary

Rosa Linda Tello
-
A 'Rose' like no other…
She came from the Valley to start her lifelong journey through the canyons of Downtown Houston. She joined the Hyatt Regency Houston family and made a thousand friends across 23 years of life in the time of conventions. She served them well and eventually became their voice as a PBX Operator.
Ever anxious to please, she was a friend to all and let her heart guide her through the 20,511 days of her life (I leave the math to the curious). Any attempt to frame the life of Rose is futile because she is timeless and irreplaceable. We are all a little more human for having known her or learning of her through these feeble words. She successfully faced surgery for arthritis and was sent to HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast for rehabilitation. Upon discharge, she was promptly diagnosed with Covid-19. This wretched curse she received would carry her to the end of days where an abyss is created as far as the heart can see… When we sit silently, you can hear her sing to the ones she loves in her voice, sanguine and bittersweet.
In lieu of any condolence, she asks that we give her that moment of silence and listen for her serenade to unbreak our hearts...close our eyes and behold… A Rose like no other…
