Roy Johlke Obituary
Roy grew up in Tomball and graduated from Tomball High School in 1949. He enlisted with the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and was a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War, earning several medals. He graduated from Lamar State College of Technology in Beaumont, TX, with a degree in Industrial Engineering and was active in Tau Beta Pi and Alpha Pi Mu honor fraternities. Roy spent many years in commercial insurance, retiring in 2001. He was a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball.
He is survived by the love of his life, Diana Seitz; four daughters and a son, Patricia Martinez, Jennifer McMillin, Tawny Spidle, Dawne Stewart, Mark Johlke, and their spouses; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with his family from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 10, at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, at Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball with interment to follow in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

Roy was my Great Uncle. He was loved and highly respected in our family. I am so sad he is gone. I know my Great Grandmother Freda, Grandmother Dora and my Mom Joyce are happy to see him.

Roy's passing has saddened all of us who conducted business with him. Those business relationships always became lasting friendships. He lived life as a true Gentleman, and will be remembered with kindest thoughts.

Roy was one of the nicest guys i ever met
I enjoyed working with him and diana at Ranger for many years
roy was the epitome of class, style and grace and a great character ( both in character and as a character!!)

I worked with both Roy and Diana for many years. Roy always had time to talk or listen to everyone and always had a smile to go with his Texas drawl.

We loved Roy; he was like a brother. He had such a gentle spirit and was kind to everyone; he was a true Patriot and a Christian. Our most heartfelt condolences go out to Diana and his family. We will miss him dearly and he will live on in our hearts forever.
