MaDear, you will be sorely missed. I just thank God that I was blessed with a grandmother like you. You were a role model of a good Christian, a wonderful grandmother, and an awesome great grandmother. Although you had upteen grandchildren, you had a way of making each and every one of us feel special. I am so happy that my son had the opportunity to get to know you and I won't ever let him forget you. I will always remember your smile (always from the heart), your laugh, and your kind spirit.
I don't know if it was your conscious intention to be the person you were, but you made a positive lasting impression on all of us and we thank you for that.

My Grandmother, MaDear, had a sweet smile that would make your soul feel loved and comforted. My memories of her soulful holiday spreads and homemade baked cakes and pies will live in our hearts always. We will miss you MaDear - now rest in peace. We love you and we will try our best to live our lives in a way that would make you proud. "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6
I would like to "Thank" South Union Church members for your kind expressions and memories you shared with the family and a special "Thanks" to Rev. Randle Tucker for a beautiful service. It was indeed a celebration of a wonderful life!
