I had the pleasure of working with Sharon a few years ago. She was so intelligent and professional, yet so fun too. She had the greatest laugh. She has been in my prayers, and I am praying for the peace and consolation of her family.

Ever since I first met Sharon fifteen years ago, she was a wonderful friend and colleague. Her smile was always heartwarming and her laugh contagious. God has called his angel home early - but not before first blessing us with her compassion for others, and zest for life. Sharon, you have inspired me to make the most of my life. Dear Barbara, Melvyn & Family,
We pray that you are comforted with peace and love. Sharon’s passion for life, her remarkable strength and resilience, and her optimism nourished her fight and will to live, speak up, and laugh. Through her courageous spirit, she determinately choreographed her journey, with uncommon bravery. Although we never met Sharon (except for Ashlei), we had the pleasure of enjoying her through our brother and uncle, who was honored by her love and friendship. You have my deepest sympathy at the loss of your beloved daughter and sister. What an absolute joy Sharon was to have in my U. S. history class. It was my first year to teach, and she definitely was a bright and shining star even as a high school freshman. I know that you must be so proud of her accomplishments. She was a special young lady. Sharon and I became close friends at Emory - I appreciated her humor and the ability to laugh at the stresses of law school. I am sure that her many clients got to know her compassion for them and passion for the law. Sharon will be missed.

Sharon was a big sister to me, always looking after me and always giving me advice. My favorite memory of her is how she was constantly calling me to see what my reaction was to our favorite shows that we were watching at the same time. She taught me not to worry about what others think of you and to always live your life under your own rules. Life is truly too short and you never know what tomorrow will bring. I will never forget you Sharon! Love you!

Sharon and I go way back. We started out as Brownies and Girl Scouts together. I remember our troop meetings in the upstairs room at her house in Sealy. We also had many pool parties and slumber parties at her house. She was a lot of fun and great friend to have. She will be deeply missed.

I met Sharon as a student teacher in 1986 at Sealey High School. The fact that I still remember her shows how remarkable her character and personality was. She was a brilliant and caring young lady, always willing to help as she flashed that dazzling smile. I knew then that she would go as far in life as she wanted to.
