To Sharons precious family,
I had the pleasure and honour to work with and...for Sharon at Edward Jones Inv. Words will never be adequate to express the priviledge that was mine to spend many hours every day with such a beautiful woman. Sharon will be forever, etched in my thoughts.
I am so grateful to God that He saw fit to have the paths of our lives meet on this side of heaven in such a special way. Family....you know I cared deeply for Sharon as I do for all of you. I share your loss and want for you to know that many times as the Lord brings you to my heart I lift you up in prayer. He has promised us in His Word that His Grace is sufficient in our time of need and that He is truly touched by our grief...so please allow Him to comfort you during this time of sorrow...this is my hope and prayer for each one of you.

Sharon was my first contact and trainer when I joined the sales department at FedEx. in 1983. By pairing us, Tom Webster knew we would learn from each other. Sharon was a soft, laid back lady while I was quite aggressive and acertive. Sharon helped me smooth my edges. She was always on time, organized, willing to help, completed her day and was out the door at 5 to tend to the needs of her beloved children. An amazing woman with an amazing smile and a soft word of welcome for all. I am proud to call her "friend". Sharon, you are always in my prayers and in my heart.

My condolences. I last spoke with Soror Sharon at sorority meeting and we found out that we knew a lot of the same people. She attended IU where I have family and I attended Purdue having been born and raised in Gary, IN. She had a great personality. Be strong and steadfast. I had the pleasure of meeting Sharon when she spoke at a seminar, and was so impressed with her I became one of her clients. Her transition from here to eternity with our eternal God saddens my very human heart, but my spirit rejoices in knowing her journey is complete. To the chidren, mother and family and siblings of Sharon. Be encouraged! God is with you...He is faithful and careth for you. I served on the Ford's Culinary Foundation Board with Sharon. I also worked with Sharon in the business community. She was always so kind, professional and a joy to work with.

The news of Sharon's passing was heart wrenching . I worked with Sharon for many years at Fedex. This happened so quickly and unexpectedly, that I can't begin to imagine the heartbreak her family and friends must be experiencing at this time. My condolences and well wishes to all of Sharon's friends and family. Sharon and I share a unique closeness to a mutual friend who spoke only of the special person she was, and what a dear, wonderful, friend she was. She will surely be missed, but I'm sure she will find welcome,open arms, in the heavenly home of our Father God.

I was so sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. We met over 30 years ago in Columbus,Ohio when she worked at Xerox. We used to laugh about both of us living in Houston when I lived there.
Although I hadn't seen Sharon in many years, I know what a wonderful person she was.

It was with disbelief to read about the departure of your daughter Sharon from this mortal life.
The great number of people that have signed the guest book so far is only one indication of how special Sharon was. Of course how could it be otherwise being your and Richard's child.

Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see. When things did'nt make sense in the corporate world, Sharon taught me to communicate in kindness and operate in humility. She said often God don't like ugly, so trust in him and we come out on top no matter what the circumstances. It was with great sorrow that I heard of Sharon's passing. I met her 21 years ago when I was accepted into Sharon's FedEx family. Sharon was a woman of great integrity and hugh spirit. No challenge seemd to big for her to accept. Her presence in this life will be missed.

I don't know what it's like to lose someone under the circumstances that you have. But whenever someone you love is gone, there is always an empty spot in our lives. I can imagine that you're hurting just like all of her friends that knew Sharon. Those that knew Sharon could tell that she loved her family very much. To Sharon's family: I had the privilege of working with Sharon from May-Aug of 2006 as on-call of Edward Jones and also some this year. She quickly became a treasure to me as an FA and as a friend. I've used her as an example of how productive a new FA can be, as I saw her being very creative, highly energetic and positive. We had the joy of sharing motherhood of adult children. Her high standards and values are exemplified in her children. My heart goes out to Sharon's mother, thank God that you had such a lovely daughter and know she's in a much better place. Family, just realize that many, many people love Sharon and were very blessed and touched by her smile and her graciousness.

Words cannot express how heavy my heart is for the passing of Sharon. Sharon and I both went to South Side High School and Indiana University. We pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority together (January 27, 1983, Tau Chapter). Sharon was my roommate when I went on my one and only cruise to celebrate my 50th birthday. I didn't see Sharon much since we were far from each other but I still loved her.
To her children, Mrs. Powers, Opal and the other siblings and relatives just remember to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May God be with you during this difficult time.

My heart was deeply sadden when I learned of Sharon's transition into Everlasting Life. But then I thought, now Sharon is really living the life and what a wonderful time she is having there with our Lord.
To Erica and Eron, as a longtime friend of your mother, we often talked about our children and what we wanted for your futures. You are everything to her and your Mom's teachings, love and spirit will be with you always. She always expressed her motherly love for you and how proud Sharon was of you. I'm really not sure where to begin. Lost for words, sad, yet I am happy Sharon has gone home to be with her Father.
