Nan, my thoughts are with you, Neal and Katherine during this time. I had not seen Sherrie in a while, but will always remember her love, compassion and her shining smile. As you can see my daughter, Jill, remembers her fondly, as I do. I remember us getting together and drinking coffee. May God bless you at this time. There are people in your life that leave their initials on your heart - Sherrie was one of those people to me. A beautiful woman, inside and out. She is flying on the angels' wings now.

Oh Sherrie you will never know how much you meant to me and my family. I remember when you were asked to babysit for my brother and I and you got me up early for school and put my make-up on me. You did my hair and helped me pick out my clothes.

I will never forget when I was having 8th grade graduation and you let me borrow one of you designer originals. I thought you were so special.

When I took classes at Wharton County Junior College one summer before my freshman year, you would proof-read my papers for me and take me to HBU Library so we could do research.

I fondly remember you attending my wedding and helping me get ready. You were always so good to me.

I will miss you every single day and will sing your praises until I meet you again in heaven. I love you so much! May God Bless you and keep you close to him.

I will say prayers for Katherine and will tell her when I see her how much you loved her and how special she is.

I worked with Sherrie for many years at St. Joseph. I loved her dearly. She was mischievous, lively and a joy to be with. I was devastated to hear this and my thoughts are with all of you and especially her daughter whom she always spoke of. I heard about dance classes and the weekly McDonald trips. Needless to say, she truly adored her daughter and all of her family. My thoughts are with you. Cindy Parker
