Dear Alan, Joni, Sid and David,
You father taught me lessons in the few short visits we had. The first was when he and Aunt Celia came for Sandy's Bar Mitzvah. Several times I noticed them holding hands, and I didn't know adults showed affection in front of others.
He always spoke of his children with love and pride. It seems to be the Pactor way to see the good in our children.
Another thing Uncle Davey did was give me a little counseling. When he came for Daddy's 80th birthday, I had recently separated. Being the only one of my siblings whose marriage didn't work, I made some comment. He took me into another room, and we talked, and he assured me that I would find someone else. It wasn't just that he told me this, but that cared about my feelings. There will always be a special place in my heart for my sweet Uncle Davey.

Great Uncle Davey was my Grandfather's youngest brother and I remember his many visits and how much love and respect all the brothers had for each other. It was endearing to know I came from a family who cherished each other. It is this great love which has inspired me all my life to remain close with aunts and uncles and cousins. I will remember Uncle Davey fondly as his memory and the memory of my dear grandfather and uncles and aunts remain in my heart. My condolences to the immediate family.

To my cousins,
I was only a tiny child but I remember Uncle Davey in his khaki uniform when he came to stay with us for a while after he came home from the war. I always loved his great warm smile which was never seemed to leave him.
May his memory always be a comfort to all who knew him.

My heartfelt sympathy to you and everyone whose lives our "Poppy" touched ...he was certainly a Father to me too and I loved him dearly...he will be deeply missed but I will always cherish our precious memories please take care and keep in touch....I love you Baby...Judy Kopelman

To you and your entire family, Becca, Jordan and I wish to convey our deepest sympathies for the passing of your father. I have such fond memories of seeing your dad whenever I would come into town. He was always so kind to me, and was always interested in what I was doing. As a fellow veteran, I will always feel a special kinship with him. My best wishes to you and all your loved ones.
